Skin Care
VolnewmerRadiofrequency heat delivered broadly, while the skin surface stays cool.
Volnewmer is a 6.78 MHz monopolar radiofrequency device made by CLASSYS. We first check your skin condition, then decide whether the procedure is appropriate and which areas to treat.

At a glance
Volnewmer passes radiofrequency current between an electrode tip and a return pad attached to the body, and the heat generated as tissue resists the current is delivered relatively broadly, centred on the dermis. During treatment, water-cooled contact cooling protects the epidermis. Results and how long they last vary between individuals, and it is not a substitute for surgical lifting.
How it works
Monopolar RF uses a single electrode in contact with the treatment area, with the current returning through a return pad attached elsewhere on the body. As the current passes through tissue, resistance generates heat, and the device is designed so that this heat acts on collagen in the dermis.
According to the manufacturer, Volnewmer protects the epidermis with continuous water-cooled contact cooling during treatment and checks skin contact (impedance) before delivering energy. Even with these features it is a heat-based procedure, so settings matched to your skin and the practitioner's judgement are important.
