When emergency assessment is needed first
If you have any of the following symptoms, please go first to an emergency department or a medical facility where imaging is available, rather than a Korean medicine clinic.
- Loss of consciousness, or severe headache, vomiting or dizziness
- Numbness or weakness in the arms or legs
- Severe pain, deformity or swelling that suggests a broken bone
- Chest or abdominal pain, or shortness of breath
History after the accident

- 02
Onset of symptoms

- 03

- 04
Current pattern
Painful areas and movements, and discomfort in sleep and daily life
Neck, shoulder and back symptoms
- Neck
- Difficulty turning the head and stiffness at the back of the neck are common. If you also have numbness in the arm, be sure to tell us.
- Shoulders and upper back
- We check tension in the shoulder and back on the side where the seatbelt crossed, and discomfort when raising the arm.
- Lower back
- We check for pain when standing up from sitting and whether numbness runs down the leg.
Pain pattern, course and the examination needed
Pain after an accident can change in location and character over time. At your first visit we record the painful areas, their extent and discomfort with movement, and afterwards we compare against the same criteria to check your progress.
In the examination we check range of motion and tenderness in the neck, shoulders and lower back, and the distribution of any numbness. If we judge that imaging or assessment by another specialty is needed before Korean medicine care, we will tell you that first.
The scope of auto insurance coverage and whether care can be provided are confirmed according to the status of the claim with the insurer and the actual criteria for care.

Auto insurance claims
To receive care under auto insurance, you need the accident claim number issued by the insurance company. Coverage and whether care can be provided depend on the insurer and the criteria for care, so please check with us by phone (+82-2-6205-1236) before your visit.
What to prepare for your first visit
- 1The insurer's accident claim number and the contact details of the person handling your claim
- 2Medical certificates or imaging results from other medical facilities (if any)
- 3A brief note on how your symptoms have changed since the accident
Frequently asked questions
Can I receive care here alongside treatment at another hospital?
It is often possible, but it can affect insurance processing and the care plan. Please tell us about any treatment you are currently receiving.
The accident was a long time ago, but it hurts now.
We check when the symptoms appeared and how they have developed, and then explain the direction of care. Whether insurance applies needs to be confirmed with the insurer.
